Episode 2 of Telltale's "Guardians" is out now! Its title is based on the song "Under Pressure" by one of the most unique collaborations in musical history: Queen and David Bowie. Give it a listen and be... amazed? Confused? It's an incredibly famous song that is also incredibly weird. Regardless, the title is perfect for this episode as the Guardians are in more trouble than ever before.
If you're a fan of Rocket, this episode is for you. I certainly am in both comic and movie incarnations, so I was super excited to do an episode that focuses on him and his problems. Rocket steals pretty much every scene he's in with his biting insults and ability to turn situations on their head with his brilliant-if-kooky ideas, but in this episode, we'll dig digger into the tragic origins of our favorite raccoon, learning what physically and emotionally made him who he is. The movies only touched on this backstory so why not play it for yourself? Yes, mini-spoiler inbound, you actually get to play as Rocket and choose what he says! If that isn't a good enough reason to pick up this episode, I don't know what is.
A galactic-sized thank you / congratulations / you're amazing to Nicole Martinez (lead writer), Emily Buck (lead designer), Jason Latino (director) and the entire team at Telltale Games for making this episode kick so much furry tail.
