Tales from the Borderlands Episode 5. Finally, the finale.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08Y2dxkMYIw Today is a big, planetary sized day. Tales from the Borderlands Episode 5 "The Vault of the Traveler" is now available for download. Yes, this is the finale of all finales. Episode 5 marks the end of a two year long adventure to create what people are now calling "Telltale Games's best series" and the entire studio couldn't be more thrilled. I had the privilege of working on TftB between the very tail end of Episode 3, which was my first writing assignment at Telltale, up through Episode 5. At each turn, this series proved to be one of the most inventive interactive stories ever told with an amazingly diverse cast of characters. It's funny, it's strange, and it's always entertaining. From the planet of Pandora to the hallways of Helios, you will fall in love with every aspect of this story's world.

The Episode 5 reviews are starting to come in this morning and so far the reception has been overwhelmingly positive. 9/10 and 10/10 all around. Even the writing team (Pierre Shorette, Anthony Burch, and I) got mentioned in Entertainment Weekly! Everyone at Telltale Games should be incredibly proud of their achievement and deserve the ultimate bro-fist for all their tireless work.

If you haven't played Tales from the Borderlands yet... you now have plans for this evening.

Minecraft: Story Mode -- Craft your own story.

minecraft-story-mode-logo The first episode of Telltale Games's new series Minecraft: Story Mode came out this week and already the fan reaction has been amazing. I had the privilege of briefly working on this series so I got to meet all the fine folks who put it together. They're a hilarious, hard-working bunch which makes it even better that the episode is doing so well! Great work, Team Telltale!

For those of you who aren't familiar with this series, Story Mode mashes the choice-based gameplay of a Telltale Game with the charmingly pixely world of Minecraft. The combination of those two things somehow works perfectly. Oh, and did I mention there's an adorable pig named Reuben?

That's enough from me, see what kids are saying about our new game!

Achievement Unlocked: Telltale Games Writer

slide-tftbl1 Seems like every few months I'm doing something new. The only thing I'm not doing is sleeping which is probably why I'm sick today. Oh well, it's good to be busy!

And busy I am now that I've started writing for Telltale Games. All I can say is that I'm working on Tales from the Borderlands with an absolutely incredible array of designers, writers, artists and tech gods. If you haven't played this game yet, I HIGHLY recommend you run out and buy it. Wait a minute, you DON'T need to run out and buy it. Telltale's games are on the Playstation, Xbox and Steam stores so you can digitally download it from the comfort of your own couch. Episodes 1 and 2 are now both available and are absolutely hilarious.

Why not try Tales from the Borderlands, The Walking Dead, or Game of Thrones today?
